What is a vocal separator?
A vocal separator (or vocal remover) splits a mixed audio file into stems — typically isolated vocals and an instrumental / karaoke track — using an AI model such as Demucs.
Is this free?
New accounts get 5 welcome credits. Each separation uses credits based on audio length. Credits are one-time packs — no subscription.
Which formats can I upload?
MP3, WAV, M4A, MP4, MPEG, MPGA, and WEBM. Keep files under the size and length limits shown on the page.
Will the vocals be perfect?
Quality depends on the mix. Clean studio tracks separate best; heavy reverb, live crowds, or dense electronic layers can leave bleed between stems.
Can I use the stems commercially?
You are responsible for rights to the source audio. Separating stems does not grant a license to copyrighted music — only use tracks you own or have permission to process.
