Script to narration in three steps

No booth, no recording session — pick a preset narrator and turn typed words into a voice-over track you can import anywhere.

  1. Passo 1

    Paste your script

Type or paste narration text — a YouTube intro, course module, documentary VO, or chapter read. Edit until the wording is right before you spend credits.

  2. Passo 2

    Pick a built-in voice

Browse preset narrators — American or British English, male or female, calm or energetic. Hear a preview before you generate the full take.

  3. Passo 3

    Generate and download

Hit generate, wait a few seconds, download MP3 audio. Import into Premiere, DaVinci, Descript, or your LMS — we deliver audio, not a finished video.

Need speech that sounds like a specific person? Switch to Clone voice on the homepage — record a sample once and narrate in that timbre instead of a preset.

Built-in voices — start narrating immediately

Most AI narration tools ask you to audition dozens of library voices before you write a word. This page skips the friction: presets are right in the tool above.

Built-in narration fits drafts, explainers, and high-volume series where speed matters more than a personal timbre. Pick a voice that matches the tone — documentary calm, tutorial friendly, podcast warm — and iterate on the script without booking studio time.

Presets also keep cost predictable: about three credits per thousand characters, with no clone setup fee. Generate a two-minute intro, revise the copy, regenerate — you only pay for what you render.

When the narrator must sound like you or someone your audience knows, use voice cloning elsewhere on the site. This page is for getting narration audio out the door today.

Narrate at scale

One video needs one track. Ten videos need ten — typing and clicking beats re-recording in a booth between each edit.

  • Same voice across a series

Stick with one preset for every episode or module so the series sounds cohesive. Swap presets only when the format changes.

  • Multiple scripts, repeat the flow

Paste script A, download MP3, paste script B, generate again. No second setup step — the voice picker stays on your last choice.

  • Name files your way

Rename downloads to match your timeline (`ep03-intro.mp3`, `module-2-quiz.mp3`) before you import into your editor.

Languages and built-in voice catalog

Built-in presets cover American English and Mandarin Chinese narrators, plus a few multilingual Chinese voices that also handle Japanese, Indonesian, and Mexican Spanish when your script matches. Use English text with English presets and Chinese characters with Chinese presets for the cleanest take.

Hero previews include welcome lines in English, French, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese — free to play with no credits. Full narration exports still follow the voice you pick in the tool.

For bilingual courses or localized explainers, generate separate audio files per language and cut them into your edit. Output is narration audio only; talking photo and subtitles are up to your video workflow.

Clone voice on the homepage can carry a personal timbre across languages when you need the same speaker in more than one tongue.

Narration for videos, courses and audiobooks

Long-form output here is always an audio file — MP3 you import into your editor. We do not render finished video or slide decks; you keep full control of picture and pacing.

UsoComo se encaixa
Video narrationDocumentary B-roll, explainer voice-over, YouTube essays — generate the track, lay it under footage in your NLE. Re-cut the video and regenerate only the lines that changed.
Online coursesModule intros, lesson voice-over, quiz prompts — one preset voice across dozens of clips. Update a single lesson by regenerating that section only.
Audiobooks & long readsSplit long manuscripts into chapter-sized scripts (within the per-generation limit), generate per chapter, stitch in Audacity or your DAW. Delivery is audio files you own — not a packaged audiobook app.

What it costs

Built-in narration bills by character count — simple, pay-as-you-go, no subscription.

On vocalove, preset narration bills in whole 1,000-character blocks at 4 credits per block. A short intro under 1,000 characters costs 4 credits; longer scripts add another block every 1,000 characters.

Billing unitCharacters in your script
Built-in narration≈ 4 credits / 1,000 chars
Per-generation limit1,000 characters (~3–4 minutes of speech, depending on language)
Longer projectsSplit into multiple generations or use credit packs — see Pricing for volume bonuses.
Clone voice (optional)Higher per-character cost on homepage clone mode — use when the voice must match a real person, not a preset.

Free tier includes preview credits. Paid exports use credits only when you download watermark-free audio.

FAQ de Narração IA

Do I need to record my voice?
Not on this page — pick a built-in preset and paste your script. To narrate in your own voice or someone you have permission to clone, use Clone voice on the homepage instead.
Can I use a different voice for each video?
Yes. Choose any built-in preset before each generation. Nothing is locked in after the first export.
How long can one narration be?
Up to 1,000 characters per generation (roughly three to four minutes of audio). Split longer scripts into sections and generate each part separately.
Does it do SRT or subtitles?
Output is audio only — no burned-in captions or SRT files. Add subtitles separately via transcription or your editor.
Can it narrate in another language?
Built-in presets are grouped as American English and Chinese narrators in the voice picker. Welcome previews also demo French, Japanese, and Korean lines. Paste text in the language that matches your voice for the best result. For the same personal timbre in another language, try clone voice on the homepage.
Is my voice recording used to train anything?
This page uses preset voices only — no upload required. If you use clone voice elsewhere on the site, your sample is used only to synthesize your scripts and is not used to train models.
Can I narrate someone else's voice?
Built-in presets are generic narrators. To mimic a specific person, use Clone voice with a sample you are authorized to use — public figures and celebrities are not allowed.
