How to Make an AI Meme from a Text Prompt
Vocalove’s AI Meme Generator builds a meme-ready scene from your prompt, then lets you overlay classic top and bottom captions in the browser. Captions are client-side—do not expect the image model to spell punchlines perfectly inside the picture.
How Vocalove meme generation works
You describe a scene in a text prompt. The model generates a still image. You type top and/or bottom caption text; the app composites that text on the image for preview and download.
This is different from asking a model to paint white Impact font into the pixels. Client-side captions stay editable and usually look sharper for classic meme layouts.
Current product limits (read before you plan)
- Captions are overlaid in the browser—not “baked in” by the model as guaranteed accurate lettering.
- The current meme flow is prompt-first. Do not plan a workflow around uploading your own custom base image unless the live UI clearly offers that upload control.
- Credits and formats follow what the generate UI shows—do not hardcode prices from this article.
- Only create content you have rights to publish; follow Vocalove Terms and Acceptable Use.
Step-by-step
步骤 1
Open the AI Meme Generator
Go to the meme landing and scroll to the tool.
步骤 2
Write a scene prompt
Describe the visual: characters, setting, emotion, and composition. Keep the punchline for the caption fields when possible.
步骤 3
Generate the image
Sign in if required. Confirm credits on the button, then generate and wait for the preview.
步骤 4
Add captions and download
Enter top and bottom text. Adjust until the joke reads clearly at phone size, then download.
Prompt examples for meme scenes
- “A tired office worker staring at a laptop at 2am, dramatic lighting, meme-ready composition, empty space at top and bottom for captions.”
- “Two cats facing each other on a couch, skeptical expressions, simple living-room background, room for bold captions.”
- “A golden retriever wearing sunglasses on a beach, sunny day, centered subject, clean sky for text.”
Caption writing tips
- Short beats clever-but-long. Aim for one line top, one line bottom.
- Put the setup on top and the punchline on bottom when using a two-line format.
- Avoid relying on the model to spell brand names inside the image—use the caption fields.
FAQ
- Does the AI generate the caption text inside the image?
- No. On Vocalove, top and bottom captions are added in the browser after the scene image is generated. That keeps lettering readable and editable.
- Can I upload my own meme template image?
- The current version is built around a text prompt that generates the scene. Do not assume custom base-image upload unless the live page shows that option.
- Can I use memes commercially?
- Follow Vocalove Terms and only publish content you have rights to use. Celebrity likeness and trademarked characters can create extra legal risk.
